The origins of the Premier Canine Club reach back to 1996.  Of course back then we had a different name (C Spot Run) and we were located in the Chicagoland area (President of Premier Canine Club, Lisa Selthofer, is originally from a suburb of Chicago).

Premier Canine Club has evolved extensively throughout the years as our insatiable appetite for canine knowledge and success became a driving force.  We are proud to be one of the few trainers in the United States to have gone beyond their home region to watch, train and compete with the very best throughout the country.

Owner, Lisa Selthofer, started with a Dalmatian named Pinky.  Lisa and Pinky's incredible teamwork has earned them many accolades, titles and respect for their accomplishments.

Later, Lisa adopted and trained two dogs from their respective Rescue Groups.  The first was a Dalmatian named Ruby and the second was a Border Collie named Spot.

Lisa has worked with various well known and respected trainers in the Chicagoland area and started her own canine training program called C Spot Run. During this time she became an American Kennel Club Judge for Agility and also worked for a large Fortune 100 company, where her experience included the development and mentoring of employees on various topics aimed at their success.

Utilizing the skills she developed, Lisa traveled extensively throughout the United States competing in canine sports, attending seminars, workshops, private lessons and engaging in detailed conversations about training theories and technique with top trainers throughout the country.

During her canine training career in Chicago, Lisa developed her own clientele and also utilized her extensive knowledge by partnering with several other professional organizations to conduct training classes.

In 2004, Lisa moved to Auburn, Washington (southeast suburb of Seattle) where her responsibilities as Director of Training kept her at a large 20+ acre canine facility for over 2 years.

Currently, Lisa is expanding her canine training programs and sharing the excitement of the canine world with those in the Pacific Northwest.  Lisa continues to develop and expand the Premier Canine Club name and services.
