Using our easy to use & family-friendly training methods, we offer two types of Dog Training:
OBEDIENCE & MANNERS CLASSES
We train you to train your dog. Coaching is perfect for those who enjoy working with their dog and have time to invest in training. This includes weekly scheduled:

This is our most popular program offering the fastest results and with the most success!
We train your dog while you're out - at work, golfing, shopping or playing with the kids. This program is perfect for those individuals who want to see immediate results or have other obligations that hinder them from making the time commitment necessary for a consistently well-mannered pet.

Puppy Kindercare
- This class is designed to assist owners and young dogs in building a successful relationship together. Topics covered will include housetraining, canine nutrition, doggy manners, puppy obedience, an introduction to skills needed for daily socialization and skills toward participation in performance events such as Agility, Obedience, Rally-Obedience & more. What Next?: Skills developed in this class will allow you to move on into our Owner Sanity Class.
Owner Sanity Class (Basic Manners)
- If your dog resembles our cartoon pup to the right, our Owner Sanity Class (commonly called Basic Obedience) is perfect for you! This fun and interactive class will teach practical obedience (come, sit, down, stay, courteous leash walking, leave-it skills) and address common issues such as housetraining, unwanted habits (jumping, digging, crying, barking), crate training, canine nutrition and other doggy issues as needed. Each class ends with a game to facilitate clicker training & team building. The goal of this class is to enable your dog to successfully transition to your household setting. Sign-Up

What Next?: Skills developed in this class will allow you to move on into our Owner Stability Class and/or with instructor approval, enroll in our Beginner Agility Class and/or take the Canine Good Citizen Test (CGC).
Owner Stability Class (Basic Manners II)
- Now that you've accomplished Owner Sanity, it's time to give you confidence & Stability with a dog who has great manners for a lifetime! In this class we'll improve upon the skills learned in Owner Sanity and teach real life skills such as back-it-up, distance stays with distractions, recalls with distractions, leave-it skills with distractions, advanced loose leash walking (you guessed it, with distractions!), stand for exam (including teeth & ear checks - perfect for preparing for vet visits or Conformation) and much more! The goal of this class is to enable your dog to successfully behave in our busy, busy world. Sign-Up
Pre-requisites: Owner Sanity Class (Basic Manners) or with instructor approval, other Basic Manners curriculum.
What Next?: Skills developed in this class will allow you to move on into our Beginner Agility Class and/or our Rally-Obedience Class and take the Canine Good Citizen Test (CGC).
Canine Good Citizen Test
- The AKC's Canine Good Citizen® (CGC) Program is a certification program that is designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. The Canine Good Citizen Program is a two-part program that stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test may receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club. Click Here for the CGC Test Schedule.
Pre-requisites: Owner Sanity Class (Basic Manners) or other Basic Manners curriculum. It is highly recommended that the Owner Stability (Basic Manners II) course be completed.
What Next?: Skills proven in the CGC Test will allow you to move on into our Beginner Agility Class and/or our Rally-Obedience Class.
In-Your-Home Coaching Lessons
- Think of this program as private classes in your home. Private Coaching Lessons are tailored for the busy pet owner with a varying schedule, but who would like to maintain an active role in their dog's training. These fully customized lessons are in the convenience of your own home and are specifically designed to the goals of the owner/family.
- We come to your home to consult with you and your dog in his natural environment. After evaluating your dog's history and lifestyle, we will create a clear and concise program for you and your dog. We encourage all family members (kids welcome!) to join the appointments.

Requirements for training sessions:
- Owners will complete an extensive History, Behavioral & Training Goal Questionnaire during the consultation.
- All dogs must be evaluated by us.
- Puppies are welcome.
- Proof of vaccines or titers is required.
- All humans must have a positive attitude and will make the commitment necessary to ensure quality training.

Day Training In Your Home
You're busy and we can help....Wouldn't it be wonderful to come home after a busy day and be greeted by a well-mannered, already exercised and happy dog? Of course it would! Don't worry, you're not dreaming because that moment can be all yours - just call us and we'll do the training and exercise your dog has been craving and all you have to do is reap the benefits!
In our Day Training Program, we train and exercise your dog in the comfort of your own home and neighborhood - all while you're at work. It's as easy as that! Here's what you can expect from our Day Training:
- A comprehensive 90-minute Consultation Meeting* prior to training. In this meeting we do an extensive history review, discuss the issues at hand, goal set, discuss training objectives, meet & greet, schedule future sessions and more.
- To train your dog, we come to your home 3-5 times a week (exact time-frame will have been established in the Consultation Meeting). We address behavior issues where they occur; in the home, the yard, the neighborhood, on walks, etc.
- You can look forward to weekly transfer meetings which allow us to show you the new skills your dog has accomplished and to teach you the tools on how to maintain those new behaviors.
- A few weeks upon completion of training, we will do a minimum of one in-home follow up session. Specific cases and/or behaviors may require additional follow up sessions.

- Quick, lasting results! Day Training achieves results faster than traditional weekly classes.
- Your role is to MAINTAIN your dog's newly trained behaviors - we'll show you how & it's EASY!
- You continue with your own busy schedule (again, no weekly classes!).
